When is the Creative Technology Lab open?

During UAL higher education term time the Creative Technology Lab is open at the following times:

  • Monday
    12:00–18:00
  • Tuesday
    10:00–18:00
  • Wednesday
    10:00–18:00
  • Thursday
    10:00–18:00
  • Friday
    10:00–17:45

End of spring term

Friday 15th March is the last day of the spring term, after which technical resources typically close until the start of the summer term a month later, on the 15th April. During this time there will be no access to the Lab, staff or equiptment.

Extended hours for Degree Show 2

To support Summer Degree Show 2 which opens on the 19th June we will be operating extended hours, generally from 10:00–20:00 across this period, the specific hours for each day are as follows:

Postgraduate Month

The official end of the academic year is Friday 21st June however PG students continue their studies through the summer, so the Creative Technology Lab will operate our usual opening hours for postgraduate students only from Monday 24th June to Wednesday 31st July.

During August and September students who would like to request access can submit an Additional Access Request Form and we will try to accomodate requests, however this time is used for staff to take annual leave, complete maintenance, prepare the college for the start of term and support the Design School public program at London Design Festival.
